Process Engineering Manager (Lewiston, ID)
Responsibilities:
- Direct the Process Engineering and Equipment Maintenance departments.
- Identify and develop tactical strategies to accomplish the organization’s objectives relating to machine and assembly processes.
- Manage the quality, performance, and reliability of assembly processes, materials, and machinery.
- Support manufacturing operations with line down situations or process/materials issues affecting quality, reliability, and product shipments.
- Drive improvements in assembly quality, efficiency, downtime, and scrap.
- Manage team performance, project commitments, and deadlines.
- Develop and plan budgets for the expansion of manufacturing operations.
- Encourage staff professional development.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (physics, chemistry, material science, …)
- Minimum five years experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Minimum three years supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing
- Experience with problem solving techniques including Design of Experiments
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing machinery
- Experience in manufacturing using quality improvement tools
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Good understanding of project management concepts and tools
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic manufacturing business systems
