Job Description :

The Assistant Director of Admissions (ADA) is responsible for assisting in the successful operation of Admissions activities of the College while maintaining personal production accountabilities. The ADA assists in the supervision and coaching of their assigned representatives and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed regarding the application and enrollment of prospective students. In addition, the assistant director of admissions supports the director of admissions in planning, strategizing, and executing day-to-day operations in order to achieve student and organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful, the assistant director of admissions must be able to successfully perform duties by working with a diverse student and representative population and have a high level of account management skills to include customer service and follow up. Other essential responsibilities include:

* Heavy outbound phone contact with institutional and self generated inquiries setting and conducting on-campus or phone interviews with prospective students
* Quoting prices, terms and conditions as set forth by the College

* Responsible for networking with a variety of contacts including existing students to promote the College and generate personal inquiries

* Communicating with students prior to the class start to identify and address potential concerns and facilitating solutions

* Acting as a liaison between the student and appropriate College departments to facilitate an outstanding student experience

* Completing administrative work and following up with potential students through the enrollment completion process up to and including active attendance in school

* Remaining in contact with students throughout their program in order to assist them in becoming successful graduates

* Maintaining a high level of productivity and exceed established Admissions goals

* Operate within the highest ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of the position

* Assist with training, evaluating, and coaching Admissions staff

* Conduct staff meetings as assigned by the director of admissions

* Conduct weekly coaching sessions with admissions representatives

* Responsible for various aspects of the teams’ student population management

* Manages the Admissions team in the absence of the director of admissions

* Performing all other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience

* One to three years of related experience with a proven track record of success; or demonstrated success, for one year or more, as an admissions representative with proven leadership skills

* Ability to communicate professionally

* Passion for results, strong work ethic, and a winning attitude

* Dynamic and outgoing

* Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task

* Ability to work independently and be a self-starter

* Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

* Professional appearance and demeanor

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and possess basic computer skills

* Ability to perform intermediate math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percents)CORE COMPETENCIES
